Decent service with wine and selection, asked for a bottle of 16 year old Lagavulin Scotch, dude laughed at me and said NO, if he had a nickel for everyone asking, we would be rich, he suggested it was sold out across the lower mainland. Googled BCLCB, the Liquor Store across the street at Park Royal North and they had 66 bottles of it.

I live in the United States and called The Village Taphouse Wine Store to see if they would be able to deliver a variety of wines to a friend of mine in Vancouver. Not only were they extremely helpful and knowledgeable about all of their wine selections, they were also extremely accommodating and made the process as easy as could be! Eleanor and Rich both were wonderful to work with and I highly recommend going here if you can!

Rich was detailed and super friendly about recommending a wine for me! Thank you so much again!

I have to say this liquor store's selection is good. That said I was a bit taken aback when I bought a bottle of wine from one of my favorite BC wineries. The price of the wine seemed incredibly high. I check when I got home and the liquor store is marking the wine almost 50% if what I can order it from the winery with free delivery....it was not chilled and it is not a hard wine to find. Disappointed enough in the price gauging by village liquor that I will not be buying from there again and will also be advising people to look elsewhere to more honest businesses.
