I had been dreaming of visiting Far North Spirits for many years and we finally made it there this past Saturday. My family teased me about it being a pilgrimage. I am a HUGE Gustaf gin fan. I first tried it 8-9 years ago and still today it is my favorite gin and my family does blind taste tests of 4-5 different gins every Christmas, so I've tried many. The cocktail room at Far North is gorgeous and very welcoming. I was hoping to have a gin martini (with Gustaf of course), which wasn't on the cocktail list, and the bartenders looked all over for some dry vermouth, but no luck. I still appreciated the effort and had a Negroni instead, which was wonderful! We had a very nice visit. By the way, the Praline Pecans made with Bodalen bourbon are to die for! The next day I received an email from Cheri (owner) that I had forgotten my jacket in the cocktail room. By then my wife and I were on our way back to the Twin Cities, so I wasn't going to be able to stop by and pick it up. Since Cheri was traveling to the Twin Cities the next day, she offered to bring the jacket with and we'd find a time to meet up. How nice is that...definitely going above and beyond! I kind of think it was meant to be that I left my jacket as it allowed me to then meet Cheri and tell her my story. Far North holds a special place in my heart.

Very comfortable and just all around great atmosphere ❤️ this place is a hidden gem and I absolutely LOVE IT! First time and absolutely not the last!!!! Thank you for your great hospitality and Awesome selection of spirits! Took a first time trip with my husband and daughter(5 years old) and we felt so comfortable and welcoming💕the best vibes to relax and try some excellent spirits❤️

Small craft distillery with amazing people making amazing spirits. It is a family operation that brings passion and craftsmanship to the spirits game. Their 100% rye whiskey, vodka, and spiced rum are a real treat. The navy strength gin has notes of juniper and cucumber that will make your mouth water. A five star experience that I recommend to anyone in the area and well worth the drive if you aren't local.
