A perfect NSLC downtown, exactly what you need when you need it. This small NSLC has all the essentials, the closest NSLC to where I live I frequent this location and the staff are always incredible. Highly recommend this location to anyone downtown.

You can find most of the international brands of alcohol here. I am sure you will never go dry when you have NSLC near by 😂

I have been gushing about this store to anyone I can. Having such a prominent location and using it to showcase many of the great local products available is such a great decision. The staff member we dealt with was very friendly (he had also helped us an NSLC Express a few days prior) If this store was inconvenient to get to I'd go out of my way to do so, and as it's located so centrally I will certainly be visiting next time I'm in Halifax.

Liquor stores are pretty standard I'd guess. This was a decent size. The lady that helped me was nice and friendly and was able to help by giving me some recommendations.

At about 6:00pm Friday, I hoped to pickup some Beer, unfortunately wasn't in stock, no big issue, I was with my friend who bought beer, however was rudely told by the Woman by the door, right before my friend tapped his debit to pay, that since I wasn't buying anything to leave. Pretty rude considering I had to wait in line to get in due to Covid, and since I wasn't a paying customer to leave asap. We were in the store maybe a whole 5 minutes in total, with no one waiting outside. Congrats NSLC, won't be visiting that location anytime in the future. ------------------------------------------------------- Update; Just an FYI, I was having Dinner at the Gahan House Pub across the street last night (7/7/2020) around 5:45pm and watched the same woman/employee give a hard time to two people who wanted to go in and purchase beer. She had closed the door and the two people outside were upset and were saying quite loudly that it wasn't 6 o'clock yet (looking at my cell, it was 5:57pm). Maybe NSLC has to close before their 'posted business hours' I don't know.. but the way the same employee handled it was upsetting to watch. The two people then came into the Gahan House were I was sitting and purchased Beer in cans to go. Your Loss NSLC!
