I like whisky and cigars - what’s there not to like here? Awesome selection and great setting.

The Smoking Cork has been my go to liquor store for almost 8 years now, with their wide boutique variety and location on Main Street - why wouldn’t it be your go to shop!? Not to mention the owners are local husband and wife who are always willing to go the extra mile to make your experience memorable. The Smoking Cork and it’s companion store Stouts and Stogies have always have a great selection, pricing might be different than large warehouse stores but that is to be expected with a personal boutique experience and well worth the extra dollar! Always willing to go above and beyond, it could be shopping for one bottle or enough to cater an event, Jessie and Jon have got you covered! Best boutique stores in Lake Placid!

Great wine and liquor store with a large variety of items for such a compact store. Love finding special single malts Scotches here for my husband. The owners are particularly well versed in wines as they also sell to some of the best restaurants in town. They'll help you find just what you're looking for, for any occasion. Definitely worth the visit.

I love this place! It's look: the perfect combination of rustic, uniqueness, and attractive displays. Also, I always seem to find unique products I have never seen anywhere else... Think mini cans of sparkling wine, fun hand-etched glassware etc. Every employee I have ever encountered in there has always been super friendly, and knowledgeable. This is a place you must check out if you're in LP.

Only liquor store without driving and with construction going on and staying at a hotel, it's practically like having a captive audience since getting around is a pain; but they aren't open on their listed hours. Went at 1pm, not open. Came back at 3:30pm, still not open. Update store hours so customers know when this store is actually open
