A review by the father of the bride. First off, I want to say the staff were great and if my review was based on the Staff alone it would be five stars. My daughter loved The Whiskey Factory which is the most important part. However, there are two major complaints that I need to bring up. First, this location is filthy! It was almost medieval how much dirt and dust was on the floor. I understand this is a working factory but it's evident that cleaning isn't part of the normal routine. An investment in some specialized floor cleaning equipment and sweepers with a normal cleaning routine would help this location greatly. Secondly, the air conditioning and ventilation was very weak, with this wedding being in May I could see that during the heat of a midsummer event, it would be very uncomfortable. To be fair my daughter did have an awful lot of candles lit and this could have made the situation worse.

We cannot thank the Whiskey Factory enough for such a wonderful holiday party! Everything was awesome from the planning stages to the actual night of the event. Alyssa and Caitlyn were delightful to work with. The tour and tasting was a perfect way to highlight the evening and truly capture what makes them so special! Garrett was an amazing tour/tasting host! Everyone is still talking about the fun they had! We cannot thank the Whiskey Factor team enough for such a great evening!

August 2022 - what a great place to have a wedding reception. My brother celebrated his wedding here and we had a great time. Staff was great. They have an elevator but their are stairs to take. A good spot for a dance floor. Long bar and they have bathrooms on that floor. Worth a look for an event.

We absolutely LOVED having our wedding at the Whiskey Factory. We worked with both Alyssa and Caitlyn during the process, and both were so wonderful. The planning process was extremely smooth with Caitlyn being very quick to respond and clearly the expert on what works well in the space. Before the wedding, we got to do a cocktail tasting with Caitlyn (+ my parents and sister), which was SO fun. The cocktails were delicious and it was a wonderful way to get excited for the wedding in the month leading up to our big day. On the day of the wedding, I felt so taken care of by the WF staff. They mostly worked with our day-of-coordinator, but were really amazing in ensuring that the day flowed smoothly. The cocktails were delicious (even our non-cocktail-loving guests opted for the specialty cocktails instead of beer or wine) and the ambiance was wonderful. What I love most about the space is that you don't need to bring in much decor to make the venue feel warm and inviting - the beautiful hanging lights and rustic space do the work themselves! The Whiskey Factory was wonderful from start to finish (even giving us a wedding present to help us celebrate) and I highly recommend hosting your wedding here.

Went for a tour, the free tasting were wonderful! Garrett was an excellent host and tour guide. Detroit City is impressive, love that they source all Michigan products to create their award winning spirits. The factory also is a beautiful venue for special occasions. That the tour you will fall in love with the products! Can’t wait to go back with friends!
