This LCBO is pretty massive actually. Lots of selection in the vintage section, with ample variety of other products as well. If I lived around here, this would be my go-to LCBO given that they have a monopoly on liquor in Ontario.

Great collection with humungous stocks

I'm afraid I didn't look at the name tag of the woman who helped me today, but she was petit, and wearing her mask. I hope my receipt can help narrow it down. I came in today and she asked me how I was doing, to which I replied I have had better days. She apologized I was having a hard time, which caught me off guard. She helped me check out, and told me that I got out of bed this morning, and at least there was that... And to keep moving forwards. My nan just passed away, and I have been struggling to feel any semblance of joy or happiness in this cold world, and she was kind enough to offer me words of encouragement, and support, despite having no idea what I was struggling through. Thank you for your kindness and empathy towards a complete stranger. Thanks for showing me kind people in this world today. I didn't know it, but your face and words are exactly what I needed. Thank you.

There was no one to help with questions except the lady sitting at the door entrance doing wine tastings. She was very rude when I asked where the port wine was...can't believe she was an employee there. I was shocked, as most people in Canada are really nice. I decided to take my business elsewhere. Two cashier's were available and the line was to the back of the store...on a Saturday night!

Oh boy, where do I even begin with the LCBO? This is a place that takes "taxation without representation" to a whole new level. I mean, seriously - have you seen how much they charge for a bottle of wine? It's like they're trying to drain your bank account one sip at a time. But here's the real kicker: even after they've taken all your money, they have the audacity to ask if you want to donate to a charity. Like, seriously? You're already bleeding me dry, and now you want me to give even more of my hard-earned cash away? I mean, I get it - charities are important and all that. But seriously, the LCBO makes so much money, you'd think they could just donate some of their profits instead of hitting up their customers for more cash. But alas, that's the LCBO for you. They'll take your money and then ask for more, all with a smile on their face. It's like a never-ending cycle of greed and charitable aspirations. In short, if you're looking for overpriced alcohol and a guilt trip, the LCBO is the place for you. Just don't say I didn't warn you.
