The cashier didn't make eye contact with me, while on his phone for about 10 seconds. He placed the bottle in the bag laying down halfway behind the glass, but didn't hand it to me. I asked him nicely "Could you hand me the bottle?" He was offended saying "What?!" and "It's in the bag!". I told him "That's not good customer service, I'm used to clerks handing me the bottle." He handed it to me in a frustrating manner. Unfortunately businesses in poverty stricken areas feel they can treat customers any kind of way. I won't be giving my patronage to this business anymore.

Dijunes rocks great store always awesome service the store clerks are wonderful. Years ago I can remember the dijunes owned a little grocery store across the street from the liquor store as a young girl -im 66 now they use to give us free treats on our way home from school I have lived in this neighborhood all my life. It's wonderful that there is still a part of the generation still here to accommodate us still around. I love dijunes 🥰

Barely civilized customer service bordering on rude. Hours of operation are guidelines at best. Pricing slightly elevated above market. Decent selection available. Ridiculously high minimum purchase for credit/debit purchases. Excellent parking.

Does my 'review'/opinion really matter? We all know the gal behind the counter hates everyone, everything and will getcha if she can. She's been Crabby Apples towards me over the past months, since I landed back in Rochester. Prices are reasonable. Place is convenient. So..we have to deal with a customer service representative that hates it all. Pick your poison.

Aside from the beggars asking for a bottle or money when you get out your car (occasionally not all the time) this spot is my go to on the weekends when I dont want to travel far to the other places that are in better area with less chance of being hounded and asked for money. They have a large selection of spirits and a decent selection of wine. They accept cash and card, but if theres a time their machine is down there is an atm right outside their doors that onyl charges $2.00-$2.50(I cant remember the actual amount to the T). If you live close by here then it's not an inconvenience, just go grab yourself some liquor because after the year and a half we all have had, we definitely deserve a drink. Cheers!
