This store is a bit like a hidden treasure. Honestly, I thought that they had closed the location, but It is only that one of the entrances (right by the northbound platform of the subway station) got permanently closed (not sure why), and somehow they didn't think about putting a sign explaining that the store is still open and where to find its door (not so visible). the remaining door, that used bo be an exit fortunately they at least covered the "no entry" sign with a printed "Enter" doesn't look too welcoming. generally it feels like this location can use some TLC from Brewer Retail Inc. - and maybe a bit of promotion. it definitely has a potential - being right on Line One - making it an easy stop for folks picking up some brew on their way home or to a party. The selection is decent (especially comparing to so many LCBO stores which relegated beer to the margins to make space for coolers and cocktails. Customers can browse and there is attentive staff ready to provide information if it's needed. The "best sellers" like Bud or Laker are definitely over-represented but there are also nice Ontario craft beers to choose from (like Frank's Honey Hanabero Spice Ale or Redline's Clutch Pale Ale). Overall I would recommend this place. another bonus: I never saw a line up there. the only challenge is finding it: from the street level the easiest way is to enter on the North/East corner of Yonge and Dundas (the revolving doors leading to the Plaza/subway) and take the escalator one level down - the Beer Store is right by the escalator. if you or on the subway or otherwise underground - find the northbound platform, the store is right there.

Convenient location because it's connected to the Dundas subway station. It's an "Express" store - meaning it's a little smaller than your average beer store, but it's well stocked. Offers both cold beer and bags of ice.

The delivery service is flawed and useless. Just save yourself from trouble and buy direct. I purchased from BeerXpress and order was fulfilled by The Beer Guy.. I ordered a pack of Bud Copper Lager and "The Beer Guy" brought me regular Budweisers. He brought this order along with other beers so I didn't notice when he delivered. I called him later to explain and he hung up the phone and messaged me 'no, I brought your Copper Lagers'. bye. I have the photos of the packaging, the order number and everything else. I tried to complain on BeerXpress and The Beer Guy. nothing done. Lesson learned: never buy from this scam company again. Never recommend to anyone else. Save yourself from headaches and from scammers like them.

Kind of limited of 'select beers' like they have the same beers in the fridge as those on the shelves. They could put more beer in the store if they didn't do that. Otherwise it's an easy in, easy out place to buy standard beer. Nothing special.

$2-$4 beers on display for sale from domestic brands to imports. Mainstream names, value options and a limited craft beer selection. Laid back environment, fast pickup and check-out process.
