This LCBO location is one of Toronto’s largest and best stocked liquor stores. This was the North Toronto Railway Station between 1915 and 1930. Now it is not only liquor shop but almost a tourist destination also.

As an American visiting Toronto, I want to warn other Americans that they should skip a visit, if they expect to find anything unusual (i.e. something they can't easily get south of the border). The American whiskey selection is very small, and things like Michter's are over CAD 90. Buffalo Trace is the most difficult thing to get in the U.S. (not where I live, but I've heard people in other cities saying they have to hunt it down), and the price is slightly more than in America when you do the currency conversion. But they still deserve 4 stars, because I hear most other places have an even lesser selection. Plus, they have a very good wine department, and the Canadian beer selection is EXCELLENT. Note that they have beer in two sections. First are the Ontario beers just past the spirits section. Second, way in the back by the rear checkout, there's a large walk-in refrigerator with other Canadian and imported beers. The Ontario selection is the excellent part. The other is just okay.

One of my favourite LCBO stores. This store probably has what you’re looking for if the LCBO stocks it. Well laid out and so much selection. I love they have a very large selection of even the hard to find spirits! This time I’m going for some Mezcal

Best and most patient sommelier, Jing Su! I hope I spell his name right. I came to select the wines for my wedding that require under $13. Jing was not only knowledgeable, but patient and kind. He didn't just pick the wine but also asked my preference and explained the flavour profiles of each wine. Last time a lady was just pointing the wines from the shelf and barely gave me time to take a picture of what she recommended. I was so happy that I met him.

The security practically watched my every move in the store which made me feel very uncomfortable. I told him I see him watching me and he tried to play it off then continued to follow me throughout the store…Almost didn’t buy anything bc of how uncomfortable I felt… This LCBO is much larger than expected and looks very nice but I gave the 1 star bc of my overall experience. I won’t be returning, ever 😠 And I strongly suggest if you are a POC to not go here either or you may experience the same thing 😒
