LCBO needs to train their employees on Anti- Black Racism esp. In this day and era. I had a few friends over and decided to go get some drinks at this Newcastle store on March 7th, 2023. While at the counter trying to pay for my drinks, I decided to inquire about other products they may have. I was talking to a lady named Jean. She was amazing and recommended some options. As I was about to leave, the cashier on the next aisle asked if everything was ok? " "JEAN is everything OK?" She asked. Jean was embarrassed by the question and gave a simple murmured yes. When I have worked hard for my money and want to have a wonderful time with my pals, I should not feel bad that I have spent it in the wrong place becoz of people's ignorance. Yes I am black but I am not a thief and i am a contributing member to the Canadian Community. Jean's friend @ Newcastle LCBO, you need to know that a customer is a customer whether they are black, white, pink, blue or what ever colour you wish to see them as. They remain customers and they need to be treated with respect. These microaggressions based on race are what is keeping Canada lagging.

Parking is very limited. You have to park to the side. Parking right out front does not belong to LCBO. Much better selection and much bigger than the previous LCBO store. Very nice inside. Upper management on opening day was very unfriendly. Regular staff is great!

In and out quickly and staff is always friendly. Parking lot can be a headache.

New location of the LCBO in Newcastle. Very nice store. Architecture and design of this location was well thought out to blend with the old world charm of the town. Entrance off of King has that Toronto distillery look and feel with the old archway sign. All in all a nice addition to the growing list of retailers in the Town of Newcastle. I give this location 5 stars.

Helpful employees, excellent selection. Parking lot is a bit odd.
