Today, I went to LCBO Highway 15, in Kingston, ON, to buy something for my Christmas celebration. I was in the checkout line and about to pay when there was a power outage and therefore, the cashier was not able to perform the selling transaction. The manager of the store immediately asked the customers leave their items on the checkout counter and wait outside of the store in the inclement weather while the cash system was restored. That management decision was totally wrong due to the weather conditions. Only one customer left the store while the rest of the customers waited patiently at the checkout counters for about 5 minutes until the system was back online. The manager could have had a better approach to her customers and give them the choice of waiting until the cash system was restored, or give the customers the option to come back, but never ask customers to wait outside the store during a snowstorm. In addition, the manager embarrassed a client by ‘jokingly’ blaming the customer that the blackout was his fault since he was visiting the store. Poor judgement and mismanagement of the situation was very evident today at LCBO Highway 15 in Kingston, ON.

Was refused service due to Quebec health card being used as my form of identification. Called another LCBO to confirm that was NOT the case. Woman at the counter was quite rude about it as well.

This location has great selection and it's close to the 401 east end. So nice not to have to go downtown or the west end. Food basics and a drug store let you skip in from the cottage, get everything done and back to the lake!
