I have tried several times to go here, they are seemingly never open. I just tried again now at 11:30am on a Monday, which their Google hours state they are open - nope, closed. Can anyone tell me when they are actually open?

A lovely store that carries a wide variety of specialty liquors. I love the old fashioned vibe of the store as it is in an older building with lovely wood accents. Very much a mom and pop place. Definitely the local place to go if you want to find interesting items and support a family business.

This place is a long standing Icon in Bakersfield. Sweetly hidden away you walk in and get greeted by the owner himself. The sweetest ole'man on earth. The finest selection of highest quality liquors and malts and wines. It makes going to the store a whole experience. ❤❤❤

I always have loved this place. They have a beer and wine selection that's pretty good. But I noticed that their Non-alcoholic beer selection was the biggest I'd ever seen. NA beers are pretty tasteless to start with, but they have multiple German brews that are pretty good. A little pricey, but we'll worth it

First time visiting this store after seeing good reviews of it on Google maps. The wine selection appear to be superb. Too bad I am not much is a wine guy. The beer selection isn't too large but not bad either. There will certainly be something for everyone. Now onto the most important part. The whiskey and liquor. I came here looking to find something I had been looking for and I found it. Although at a 100% markup over the MSRP. I suppose you need to be willing to pay to play when it comes to highly sought bourbon. Will I return? Likely even at the markup because there just isn't much other choice when it comes to difficult to find bottles. I do like the chase for bottles but also feel a premium is sometimes worth saving the trouble.
