I am really disappointed with this company because the CEO, Adam, keeps screwing over the loyal whisky club members. He did this several years ago and now he is doing it again. I was one of the first members of the whiskey club when it first started. It was really enjoyable because we could go in at any time and have free tastings. I introduced several of my friends to their whisky via these tastings. The club offered different levels of discounts depending upon how many bottles your membership supported (10% for 1-bottle club, 20% for 2-bottle club, and 30% for 3-bottle club). As a club member I could purchase extra bottles at any time at my club discount and also get a discount on the other merchandise that they sold. In the beginning, the club offered events for the club members around the time that the whiskey was ready for pickup (once per quarter). One such event included hors d'oeuvres and they had set up tables with mixings where each club member was taught how to make a couple of different mixed drinks with the whiskey. It was a very memorable event. In the club's beginning there were several events like this. But because they offered such a wonderful experience to the club members, the club grew exponentially within a very short period of time due to "word of mouth". Eventually, the club got too big so they made their first extremely bad decision to screw over the club; apparently they could not keep up with their distributor's orders so they cancelled the club completely to supply the distributor's orders! Years later, they started up the club again, but this time with less options, less discounts, and absolutely no in-person events; only virtual tasting events where you got to watch Adam tasting his whisky on Zoom. But, I joined the club again. The whisky offerings were pared down compared to the previous club offerings. Now Adam has closed down the club again, announcing that he is opening it up to become a national club, not just local. But there are no more discounts except for "special occasions" and I'm now forced to have my whiskey shipped; I can't pick it up locally any more. I hate having liquor shipped because they won't deliver it unless there is a live person there to receive it! Adam has proven that he has no business sense as he does not care about his loyal club members who helped to make his business grow. Quite frankly, I've given up with this company's whiskey. Since the first club cancellation, I've come to appreciate the Bulleit Rye Whiskey at Costco; it has just as good flavor and costs about 1/2 as much for four times the quantity ($38.99 for 1.75 liter bottle).

Absolute gem of an experience in Sonoma. Everything from the initial introduction though the end of the tasting was done very well with an extremely personal touch. We spent nearly 2 hours with our host who gave us a very detailed tour of the site, followed by an even more detailed tasting session. The products are fantastic and the people are even better. If you are on the fence about this experience stop reading this review and go ahead and book your tickets, you won't regret it.

Quite honestly it doesn't matter how the whiskey tastes - if you're not buying it on site dont bother. The shipping agent they use (Thirstie) modifies your order without telling you, then doesn't offer to make it right when contacted, costing you money. Then they leave items that should ship out while still charging you. No whiskey is worth this hassle when you can get even ok whiskey by just walking into a store and paying.

We visited the distilling company not quite knowing what to expect - and oh boy, were we glad we visited. This is an up and coming distilling company with that personal touch. The owner toured us through his facility and answered every question imaginable. He started in 2003 and is expanding his facility because of his success. He has an incredible passion for his work and recognizes it's his customers that come first. If you enjoy whiskey, please consider stopping by for a tour and supporting this local business.

When I saw the grain mill powered by an electric drill I knew we were in for an interesting tour. Our guide was wonderful. The whiskies delicious.
