I've been in the neighborhood for 20ish years and frequently visit this store (based on convenience and to support a small business), but I will not be anymore and don't recommend it. The old owners from several years back were courteous, personable, and I enjoyed seeing them. The people that currently run the store are the complete opposite (aside from the son). They barely acknowledge you when you walk in the store and are generally rude/condescending or defensive unnecessarily. The store is also not as clean as it used to be and coupling that with the negativity from the husband/wife that are there most of the time, they don't deserve repeat customers.... sad to see it have gone so far downhill.

Super Creepy!!! RUDE service, read the reviews. A bizarre place. The guy that works there lurks over you while you shop in an aggressive manner.I wouldn't recommend anyone who feels unsafe or women shopping there. Very ghetto. Also you can't shop in the liquor half of the store, so don't expect to see anything in thier liquor section. So you'll have to go by the aggressive owners picks and not your own. Very odd place. Not a welcoming place to shop. I don't recommend it. Don't fit into Concord behavior or friendly neighborhood store. Go to Safeway or another liquor store for better selection, prices and customer service.

Loved this place! Was just stopping by to get some snacks and it was a wonderful experience. I didn't get the guys name. It looked like he was the only one working at the time but he was so nice. Helpful, and gave great recommendations. I'm really glad I found a good non chain, local business that I would proudly and gladly give my money to! Check it out! Good parking and easy to get in and out. Two thumbs up 👍👍❣️

Been coming here years and the owner told me I couldn't look at the liquor. They have a section where there's wine and bottles that are blocked off by cones, the owner was standing there in said section. He said "what do you want?" I said "I'd like to look at the options". He said "no looking". I said, "really?" He said "yes". I was in disbelief. As a local, and a business owner. I'm appalled by this response. I can tell you that even though this store is on my way home, I will never be back. Also their prices aren't that great so what's the point.

I'm not from around here so I don't understand all of the customs. But when I was standing there deciding what I wanted the man that was working there was asking me what I was looking for. I thought this was polite. And I told him what I was looking for and he said well pick it and come away from there. And I'm like yeah that's what I'm doing. I'm standing here picking something. And then he said you're not allowed to stand there you just have to get one and go to the cash register. I thought this was pretty rude.
