I drove all the way to San Ramon Total Wine & More at 8 PM on New Year's eve for a wine I like (see picture). The staff was so helpful trying to locate the wine for me. He spent over 10 minutes searching the aisle where it was supposed to be and finally found it in a box stored above the rack. I took the entire box leave only three bottles to him. This location is very clean, neat and ordered, in addition to the large selection of wine and beer! I definitely will come back.

Total wine and more in San Ramon is always stocked. Right now they have alot of seasonal beers.

We usually go to the Livermore store but the wine that we were going to buy was sold out. I called the San Ramon store and Bob answered the phone and was very helpful and friendly. He immediately told me that they have the wine in stock. He even provided us with detailed directions to their location. I asked him to reserve 2 cases. The two cases of wine were already in the shopping cart when we got to the store. That's what I call GREAT SERVICE!!, thanks Bob

Still a decent place to go in terms of attentive service and better than average wine selection, but the beer choices have fallen away apparently chain-wide, and the San Ramon site doesn't have as wide a vodka or tequila selection as some other locations.

This place is heads and shoulders above BevMo! It is so much nicer inside an out. It feels like an upscale store compared to BevMo. The staff is dressed much more professionally. The managers even wear white shirts and ties. More importantly, everyone you talk to, even the cashiers, all seem to be much more informed about procedures, locations, and specific knowledge of the various wines, especially the ones that are on sale. Everyone seems much better trained or has wine or alcoholic beverages experience. And it looks like they have a larger, more complete inventory. Prices look about the same as BevMo so there is no reason to go back to bed now.
