This place is great now. Why do I say "now"? Well, the previous owners were absolute garbage at their job, they scammed me a few times, they sold things years past their best by date, they never cleaned, among other things. Now, the new owners and employees keep the place clean, always stocking the shelves with new snacks and beverages, and overall the place is much better now. I come in occasionally to buy chips and a soda or things of the sort. Great place! Edit: I forgot to mention in my review that there are some homeless people that sit nearby sipping on cans of booze, and as someone who goes past them all the time, they are totally harmless. That is, unless they're high on something (which isn't usual)

Other than the vagrants loitering out front and at times being aggressive, this is a decent neighborhood liquor store. Most of the employees are nice. Prices are ok. Some items are a better value than others. Good selection.

I said I always keep it real now this place here I've been in here to cash a check the owner's son cash my check and they already take out a certain amount just to cash it well I had about $0.95 coming back also and I asked him where was the $0.95. And he told me they don't give that changed. So I replied you telling me everyone who cash a check here you don't get that changed. He replied we don't get back change and that was the last time that I went down the hill to buy anything here. Their prices are high and I wouldn't advise anyone to cash a check.

I live down the corner from this liquior store. I always get my money orders there ever month for the last two years. They charge a dollar per $500 EVEN THOUGH THEY ADVERTIDE ABOVE THERE DOOR ITS FREE FOR A MOMEY ORDER $500 AND ABOVE. Any how it's always been that way and I usually pay with my debit card every time FOR THE SERVICE FEE,. Mind you, I always check my amounts and it was always two dollars every month. I went in yesterday and requested two money orders which would of been $2.00 Ricky said it was two dollars but of I wanted to use my debit it would be 12.00 total! Just for the service fee! When I said I've been doing this same thing for two years now he said," he wrgued with me saying I must not of looked at my bill it has always been that way" Ah no I'm not the kind of person who doesn't watch what I am spending at the time of any purchase. SO NOT ONLY IS THIS LIQUIOR STORE GIVING "FALSE ADVERTISMENT, THEY ARE LITERALLY CHARGING WHAT EVER THEY WANT TO GET UP ON CUSTOMERS! BE VERY CAREFUL AND WATCH WHAT YOU PURCHASE. THE SAD PART IS IT IS A VERY NICE LIQUIOR STORE. WE USE TO GO THERE EVETYDAY AND PURCHASED ITEMS. NOW WE WILL DRIVE THE EXTRA TEN MINUTES TO GIVE SOMEONE ELSE OUR BUSINESS.. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL.... WATCH OUT WHEN YOU GO THERE!!! And Ive been buying money orders from this business for over two years now, and not one time was I ever charged ten dollars for a service charge. I even went back on to my checking statements after this happened and doubled checked and not once up til now have I been charged a ten dollar service charge. Unlike the owner of this business has stated on his reply. and... also after I had posted this review, the sign that said, Money Orders are free over 500.00, was surprisingly covered. after two years.

Family owned with friendly service. Their beer and wine selection rivals the corporate big boys. They have the trendy beers we sometimes order to impress our dates.
