Love the dog guarding the front of the store, has a lot of interesting items and my favorites, Deep Eddys Grapefruit Vodka and Treaty Oaks Bourbon

I absolutely love this Spec's because of its deli! Not every Spec's has a deli and when my colleagues asked if I wanted to go to a liquor store for lunch, I was super confused. The prices are extremely fair for all of their lunch offerings and the food is actually excellent. The sandwiches are huge and they have specials on certain days, too. They have an extensive hot sauce bar to add to your food which is pretty cool. Definitely a cool spot to check out and experience.

Okay check out this nasty bowl of mold water used for samples I’m assuming sitting right near the registers. How has nobody noticed or cleaned this out?! Hahaha so Disgusting. Also the bathroom was trashed and the groceries are more expensive than wholepaycheck even (though I suppose that’s to be expected from a specialty store). Mostly I’m just shocked they would let that mold bowl sit there for so long…. makes me question the cleanliness of the prepared foods they offer.

Haven't been here in over a year. Noticed the store wasn't as clean as it used to be. Debris on the floor. We went and had lunch and the tables were not clean they had residue on them. Chairs were haphazard. And then we both went into the men's and ladies room to wash our hands, and it was pretty disgusting in there. The food was okay. Not the way we remembered the burger or the sweet potato fries from a year ago. Some of the people working there were not as friendly and outgoing and chatty as we had remembered. We made our purchase of wine and left. Not sure if we'll be returning?

Will not go back to specs again. I use cash and it never rings up the cash price on the label. Total wine is less than a mile away and I've always had great service there and it's cleaner. The cashiers at specs actually were arguing with me.
