Ordered from them via Drizly and the delivery person couldn’t figure out how to use the app to scan my valid passport. I suggested she call customer service and she said that would “take too much time out of her day”. I called Drizly multiple times and they said a passport is golden. I called Far West and they told me only Texas ID was allowed, which is totally wrong. Neither Drizly policy nor legal policy in the state of Texas says only a Texas issued ID is the only identification for purchasing alcohol. By the way, Im 46 years old with white hair….so it was all especially ridiculous. That aside, a U.S. passport is valid ID and Far West argued the fact and told me that I’d be shuffled off to the next day because they were “too busy” to deal with my order despite the fact that I’d ordered over 5 hours before. The seemingly bored and annoyed demeanor of the Far West rep I spoke to was shocking, as I’d made many orders from them in the past...enough to count as a very repeat customer. As a long time and repeat customer of Far West, this all felt super rude…especially as this happened during the holidays when we all want our booze on time. I ended up calling another liquor store I often order from and they looked me up, saw that I’ve ordered before and then treated me wonderfully, as a repeat customer should be. They were appropriately very customer-service oriented and immediately said a US passport was great. Never again, Far West…y’all need to work on how you treat your loyals. And y’all need to have some empathy for when major problems occur. Rudely brushing customers off is a bad look. And also, you shout know what ID y’all should accept. Not everyone drives, you know? I’ve seen here how Far West responds to negative reviews. In my opinion, its a mistake to argue. It’s not a good look to bash anyone publicly for having a bad experience and being willing to share it. Perhaps, you might consider making things right instead. Or, perhaps you could learn something from the feedback you’re given? That said, given how Far West seems to respond publicly to negative reviews, I assume I’ll be “banned” for saying something about my abysmal experience, despite it being totally genuine and true. That, in and of itself, would be a petty and pretty telling act of how this company responds to legitimate feedback. Pay attention to how companies respond, as that is an indication of how you’ll also be treated if something goes wrong.

Personable, knowledgeable, friendly service with a wide selection and helpful staff. If they don't have it (which seems unlikely) they will find it for you. If you need help getting to your car they'll gladly help you out. It's a small store with tight aisles so it gets really "cozy" on the way home from work and during the holidays.

Decently friendly staff. I love that they have Delta-8 and can deliver (with a minimum fee unfortunately). Not bad. The gummies and pre-rolls are delish.

Got told by the owner that I needed to walk around the apartment complex and find my delivery… If u can make an effort to get past the fact that there is such a thing as riding such a high Horse that customer satisfaction becomes a problem you should definitely patronize this business.

Far West Liquor’s curbside pickup is awesome. Very efficient, safe, and contact-less. Highly recommend using their app to make quick purchases.
