We used this location to purchase alcohol for our wedding. Consultation was great, and purchase was easy.
The return was not so easy. Two big takeaways:
1. When I got there they initially said that I was past my return date (we were dropping off the returns the day after the wedding). If you knew the date of our event why would you allow us to purchase the order knowing that we would be past our return date? The manager at this location still allowed us to return the items, but this was a hassle.
2. Certain items could not be returned because they were stored improperly by the venue. If we had known this upfront it would have been easy to store everything correctly.
There's really no formal process for putting in a wedding order (no contract or anything), they just treat it like a large order. My advice would be to get something in writing that makes it clear when items need to be returned by, and how everything should be stored until return.
Or if total wine could make this more of a formal process that would alleviate confusion and churn in the future.
Overall still a great store and we intend to return. I'd just be cautious about using them for your event if you're expecting to need to return items.
