Just moved her from another part of Austin and wanted to check out this TL as it is now the closest store our new home. We are avid wine and bourbon drinkers and spend roughly 10K a year. This doesn't count an additional 10k I probably spend in client gifts for my work. Had an absolutely terrible experience with the cashier trying to ask her some questions about inventory, selection, etc. Every response was a one word answer, zero eye contact, and a tone that was belittling and condescending. I will never step foot in that store again.

To the woman working on 9/20/21 around 12:30 - You seem to have forgotten that you're in a retail position where you may need to interact with customers from time to time. I entered with a smile and a wave. I bought a $70 bottle of Bourbon and inquired about the possibility of finding another variety from the same distillery when it was released the following month. I'd like to think that I was generally pleasant in my inquiry, if not maybe a bit "green" with the topic. Apparently - that's just an absurd thing to ask and you simply could not be bothered and were rude with every response. I'll happily take my business elsewhere and aim to avoid you...in every way possible. Thanks for literally nothing.

They have a good selection of whiskeys from around the world at many different price points. Usually inly one person working so be patient if you have questions or need help finding the perfect bottle for the party.

Horrible Service by two employees. My friend and I went to get some liquor today from here. The guy at the counter asked us if we were 21 when we entered, to which we replied, “Yes”. When I took my drink to him for check out, he asked for both of our IDs. While I had mine, my friend didn’t have hers on her at the time. I understand that there are rules that store employees need to follow, but there was no reason for him to behave in such an exasperated and annoyed manner. He didn’t once mention that both of us would be required to provide proof of age when he questioned us in the beginning, so I didn’t think much of his question and continued with my shopping. I was ready to quietly leave when I realized I wouldn’t be sold the liquor but he went on with rude remarks about how we both needed to show our IDs. Absolutely unprofessional behavior, I’ll probably just go to Specs next time.

I come here after work and get great service most of the time. I walked in last week to get some whiskey and I hold the door open for a a guy and start walking to the whiskey isle. They ask him immedietly if he has his ID, which he forgot in his car. They asked me to leave even though all I did was open the door for him. He was the same race as me, same hair color, but I did not know him. I will just go to Reubens or Specs. Better service and better prices anyways.
