The other reviews are correct! They are rude. As I was being rung up at the register, I asked if they offer military discount. She replied that they do, but I have to inform her before they ring you up. I asked her if she could just cancel it, and she replied no. How was I supposed to tell her prior when she immediately started ringing up my one item? Plus, I guarantee had we said “never mind,” and walked out of the store she would have found a way to cancel the order.

They did not have what I was looking for but still able to pick up a much sought after bourbon at a very reasonable price. Good selection and depending on what you're looking for decent prices.

I have been a Specs customer and key card holder since 2015 when I first moved to Texas. I typically shopped at the Round Rock, TX store, but have since moved to Georgetown, TX. I was happy to learn that there is also a Specs location in Georgetown. After my experience this evening at approximately 6:00 pm, I will no longer be a Specs customer. When I first entered the store, I went to the section where the unrefrigerated beer is kept. I was looking for a particular beer (Ballast Point grapefruit Sculpin) but could not find it. I then proceeded to the refrigerated beer section but could not find it. While I was looking, there was a young employee, a man with a long ponytail, leaning against the wall talking with a friend. They moved to an aisle where they continued their conversation with your employee leaning against a rack of alcohol. I could not find the Ballast Point so I asked the kid with the ponytail to help me but he refused and pointed to his friend. I then asked your wine guy but he was helping a wine customer. As I was wandering around trying to find the beer and becoming frustrated as I watched the ponytail kid just standing there continuing his conversation. I saw another employee, a light skinned black man, coming out of the back and asked him to help me. He said he had just got called to the front for a door dash order but will help me after. I hung around a little longer, watching as the ponytail kid was still visiting with his friend. Since I could not get help I proceeded to leave the store. As I was walking past the registers, the light skinned black man again said he would be with me shortly. I continued to walk, stating, "Never mind, I am going elsewhere." By this time I was at the door and the black man proceeded to scream at me, with numerous customers at the registers, about a spill and screamed good luck going elsewhere. I was never disrespectful to anyone and did not deserve to be screamed at in this way. I am a 60 year old professional woman who has years of experience as a customer service representative. I've worked in call centers where I would get screamed at as soon as I answered the phone but still would never be so disrespectful to a customer. I have never been disrespectful to a customer service rep either. This man definitely should not be in a customer facing role, but should be fired. I left a voicemail message for the District Manager but am not expecting a call back based on my experience with the employees today. A phone call won't erase what happened today so it doesn't matter.

Didn't have what we were looking for. To be honest being from New Hampshire, I'm still impressed with our liquor outlets. Sorry. Service at the Georgetown Spec's store wasn't conducive to me coming back. The new liquor laws are dumb.

Great variety. The staff is randomly friendly. Cashiers are polite but never seem happy to be there.
