This was our first time going to a Spec's! It was huge, and very tidy. I was thoroughly impressed with two of the young men on the floor who assisted my partners and I during our purchase. I wish I had asked for their names so I could congratulate them. The bathroom was clean, and everything was well stocked. The prices were all very fair and the selection was excellent. Upon checking out, I personally did not make a purchase but my two partners did. A lovely older woman checked out my lady partner while a nice young lady assisted with my gentleman partners purchase. I was asked to leave the store upon check out for not having my ID on me. A completely understandable rule as it helps protect minors from alcohol abuse. However, my partner who looks much younger than I was not asked for ID at all. This is actually what got this place five stars. Yes, that I was asked to leave the store! It means staff are using their best judgement and discretions in age situations, and to me I love trusting the guts of employees on delicate situations such as age limits. The employees also seemed at ease and not stressed which is always a bonus to me and hopefully reflects a positive leadership system in place. All in all, big kudos to Specs here. It's going to become our local store soon, and we would like to encourage business at this location.

Great selection of wines and spirits but the people are rude as hell. The short manager acts like she runs the place. Her workers look scared af of her. Definitely need customer service..She was really running people off the front parked for curbside... and throwing the signs to park... great selection tho.. only reason it got 3 stars

Very clean store lots of room to maneuver through. Would like to see bigger beer selection. Friendly staff good prices and overall good selection.

Very disappointed how this store operates. When walking in there was a gentleman wearing a specs shirt on his phone at the entrance, not sure if he was a greeter or security but he was busy watching movies online. I proceeded to get what I had came in for, only to notice my bottle was not there, I went to the front to ask where I could find it (as this was my first time in the store) there was a group of 3 employees standing around the counter chatting, I approached asking if anyone knows where I can find this bottle. The lady looked at me then asked her coworker “you know what she is talking about?” Very unprofessional, he got up off his rear and walked down the isles aimlessly, as I followed behind him I quickly realized he was high as he was giving off a burnt blunt smell. The bottle was not found and I quickly decided to not find an alternative as my business will go elsewhere.

I was going there weekly and joined the key club which gives you discounts and it was great. Good variety and great staff until my last visit. When I brought my purchases up to the register my phone # all of a sudden was not in the system. I had do redo the application fir the 3rd time. After it went through everything rang up at regular price. When I brought this to the attention of the cashier she said then it's not eligible. I explained to her that on the shelf it is listed at a different price. She waved me off saying if it doesn't show on the register you can't have it. I asked about the price listed and she says to me that's the managers job not mine. Never offered to get the manager either. I politely told her to cancel my purchase and now I shop elsewhere and will never go back. They need to teach cashiers about customer service. One rotten apple spoiled the bunch for me. I will now go where I am appreciated to Total wine right down the road
