This Specs Express have been my local store for almost 5 years. The employees have always been nice, but the store itself left something to be desired. It’s been a few months since the new manager came on board (Can’t remember his name 😬) and I have to say this store is cleaner, looks bigger and nicer, and is just generally provides a more pleasant shopping experience. I know firsthand how hard it can be as a new manager coming into a store with an established staff. There are growing pains for sure, but things seem to be on the upswing, and it’s nice to see! Great job to the whole team.

My girlfriend genuinely left her ID in the vehicle, along with the rest of her purse, nonetheless I was purchasing alcohol and the old lady said she had to see both our ID. Not even a chance to explain and quickly kicked us out and refused services. No communication and she clearly lacks that, I get that she wants to be a Karen but having some situational awareness/compassion is a nice skill to have in the service industry. What’s a second to explain something, ask us to go get our IDs and come back but no you presented yourself as rude and ignorant minded.

Awful service, ridiculously small and messy. The cashier wouldn't speak then slapped a "register closed" sign in front of my face rather than just stating "he can help you over there." There's someone "working" on a computer in the middle of the store and coughing all over the place like he's choking to death. Just a gross and unpleasant place.

Don’t make more than 3 trips here. Older lady straight told me she can’t sell to me for a third time in one day. I wasn’t drunk or even remotely buzzing. I didn’t care because the person requesting the alcohol wasn’t my money. So I just canceled the order. Hopefully they got their order but with this day and age they would be more appropriate to online orders. Oh well. I’ll just stick to in town or corner stores to my online orders.

When you walk in a store and the employee just stares at you does not speak and is not helping anyone.... you feel some kind of way. After I walked in around for 10 min and the 2nd employee came in with lunch I was amazed at the lack of service and the main focus of the McDonald's holiday pie🙄 they wanted. I love specs just not this one.
