As always Spec's is excellent. I've been dealing with them for a long time in their Dallas locations, it's basically a Walmart for liquor and related products; great selection and fair prices. I'm very happy to see them expanding further east and I hope they keep growing. The store is clean and they have a presentable selection of liquors. The Dallas stores still have more of the obscure bottles as well as beer mini-kegs, but this store has more than enough to keep any aficionado happy.

I guess management doesn’t care about the checkout process and customer service. It’s okay for their employees to be on their cellphones having personal phone calls while checking out customers. The lady checking me out today was on the phone and I felt like I couldn’t even request a bottle from behind her without her making me feel like I was disturbing her. And when I ask for a Military discount gives me an attitude and claimed I needed to tell her before she rang me up. yet I couldn’t even do that’s while she’s talking on the phone rushing the process. She denied me service for telling her it would have been better if she was off the phone. I happily took my business down the street to a local liquor store. Wouldn’t recommend this specs the employees are rude and inconsiderate.

I worked over night in a different city, so when I walked out into the sunshine so ready for home I saw Specs. I had only been to one other Specs, the one in Rockwall, magnificent store btw. So when I saw this one i thought yay !! The one stop shop, perfect !! Yeah, not so much. I must of looked like a bum because from the moment I walked in I was treated as such. One of the employees suddenly had to straighten the bottles where I stood lingering, but she didn’t actually do anything or ask if I needed help lol the reason for my lingering. ? No Apple vodka. None of any kind I even asked and got the “if it’s not on the shelf”canned response. Oook you have 12 different kinds of olives but no apple vodka ? Maybe if the bottles weren’t pushed so far back you could see your own inventory! Ok i made my 2nd choice, no one smiled no one greeting the customers? Maybe I looked like a dirty worker, well because at the moment I was, but you know, that’s how people get money !!

I have been going to this store for a few months and have never had any issues. However, today my experience was different. I have severe asthma when triggered and when I approached the sales associate to pay for my merchandise - she was smoking her vape pen and all of this smoke comes pouring out of her mouth like a fireplace that had just been put out. I quickly backed away because of my asthma BUT because she was the ONLY associate able to help I waited till the smoke dissipated. This could prove to be a real lawsuit in my opinion if this store allows their employees to smoke anything indoors. It is LITERALLY taking away every customers rights to have the right to breathe clean fresh air while in a public establishment. Disappointed!
