Really friendly and good location. Hard to spot though. They should empty their trash more often.

We love to stop at Pirates for our weekend getaway! They have a great selection and owner is very welcoming and nice. Would definitely recommend!

Excellent whiskey selection and not grossly overpriced. I can’t find some of this stuff in Houston, so I was really impressed! Prices are a little above market, but you’re on an island, so it is what it is

I was super excited to see this at the liquor store that we were in called the Pirate's! We are in Galveston TX, so I bought a bottle as I haven't had it in a while! the bottle seamed to be sealed but when I poured it into my glass of ice it didn't smell right, we tried to take it back but the store wouldn't even touch it! I am very bummed. I thought he would at least let me try another bottle! Won't be going to that store ever again!

Jay (Jai?) Is very friendly and very interesting to talk to and he carries a nice selection. He knows his product. It's like stopping to visit an old friend, and leaving with a bottle. Or 2.
