I don't drink alcohol but went to buy wine as a gift. The sales staff was very good, asked how they can help and made excellent suggestions. They understand that price might be an issue and made suggestions based on value.

Beer selection leaves one wanting more... The Krogers down the road (not across the street) has a wayyyyy better selection. It makes me sad bc Specs is Specs lol and Krogers is Krogers. Big sad.

This Spec's is very close to my home... there are cheaper places around, but they're not as convenient. Great staff and selection!!!

For as old as this building is, this site was really very nicely kept. Bathroom could've used a bit more TLC with the tiles around the base of the toilet and behind with what looked like might've been mold though. I was really hoping to find some of the nice chilled snacks such as specialty cheese, sausages, etc but there was none at all. Even simple snacks like common chips were scarce. There was one young guy working the floor that did offer shopping assistance, but the 2 young girls that were also there stayed behind the counter did not offer assistance at all. Overall, it could be better since it really didn't have the same livelihood found in other stores I've been in around Texas. Thankfully I'm not from that area and was only there to pick up a very hard to find $50 bottle of bourbon

Who knew I could have so much fun at a liquor store? Usually the fun starts after you leave! Came in for Champagne which I know nothing about. Was helped by a girl whose name I wish I got. She was like freaking "Rain Man" when it came to her knowledge on Champagne and the grapes. Thought I wanted this name brand champs but I was educated and went with another because the name brand one I wanted actually didn't grow their own grapes. They buy them from the vineyard of the brand she recommended. Half the price of the name brand and it was exquisite! Including a pic of the brand. You are welcome! Super knowledgeable and friendly staff. Best liquor store in a super convenient location.
