We went into Specs over on Ronald Regan and 1431. We went in for vodka that were met with a sample of GREAT whiskey. Such an awesome experience to be able to actually meet the person that makes the whiskey and share a shot. We were able to get a signed bottle and enjoy a buzz while shopping. We’ve been sharing the whiskey with everybody and have gotten such great response. I thought it was really cool that the owner was in specs signing bottles. It shows great tenacity creativity and passion for their products and for their customers! If you love whiskey keep it Texan and try old Humble Whiskey! Ps. I wasn’t paid or asked to leave review, it’s just damn good whiskey!

We bought a groupon for the tour and ended up being the only two on the tour of this tiny distillery. The owner was very nice and gave the tour which covered the entire process, and most importantly sampling! He said they are moving towards the end of the year for a slightly bigger place, and I wish them all the best! Also, you can and should buy a bottle or two while you're there.

I happened upon the Maker/owner in Austin at Specs while he was passing out samples... I'm a whiskey girl, I asked him if it's a hangover whiskey, he said heck no! I make this stuff and I don't like hangovers! Lol it is the best I have ever had! Going to see if he will ship me some 🤔😏

I bought a bottle of their special reserve, it was not very flavorful. I am all about supporting local businesses, but I'd be hard pressed to buy another bottle from them. I hope the other offerings are better.
