J & R Liquors has a wide selection, and very reasonably priced. Also, incredibly nice owners and operaters. The place to go in Nacogdoches.

Me (20) and my husband (26) went into the store then at checkout we both handed our id's (had our marriage license in the car) and I was told that I had to "please leave this store" an "go stand outside." I always, always check to make sure they have their sign that says you have to be 21 or accompanied by a adult spouse or parent. They had it. Right in the middle on the front door. And I was still asked to leave the store. If they didn't have it on the door I would understand. So me now embarrassed and standing in the parking lot decided we won't be visiting this establishment again.

Tom is very friendly and always shakes my hand. The prices are good as well. This is the only liquor store in Nacogdoches that has a drive through window. I rate it 5 stars !
