My experience at this specs was great. The staff was very helpful and didn't get annoyed at my friends and I for asking dumb questions. They did their best to help us find what we were looking for. If I'm ever in the area again I'll 100% return.

This is second time to this location . The first time we went in was to look for IPA'S that I have become fond of. Prior to coming in the first time we stopped at the Twin Liquors by HEB Creekside. We walked in and looked at the microbrew section and found the selection they had was very minimal compared to the hard liquor. While we stood their we had several workers pass us by with no acknowledgement or assistance. TWIN LIQUORS YOU SUCK!! So we decided to check Spec's out. We did find an IPA that I like but the person who helped us was either having a bad or just didn't want to help at all. But either way we did find something that we thought we would like thanks to another customers help. They worked at Muck N Fuss and made some suggestions. Thanks guys! Yesterday (St Patty's Day) visit warranted a review on our visit. We came in to look for an Irish Beer as sales associate happen to pass us by. I stopped him and asked him for some help in selecting a micro beer for St. Patty's Day. He stated that he did not have much when it came to Irish beers. He did suggest Harps but it was not what I was looking for. So we choose to switch to something else. I then proceeded to ask him about IPA'S which he firmly stated that he did not care for. That's okay. Not everyone likes IPA'S. But even then he did make some great suggestions based upon sales and customer likes and local breweries. He may not have liked IPA'S but he was knowable to make suggestions based on pictures of beer that I liked and those in the middle. Thank you Marcus!! So we headed to the front to check out and that is when we come into contact with Paul the cashier. He had a great attitude and extremely helpful. I found him to be personable and loves to talk to his customers. I was pleased with the service we received. I would definitely recommend Spec's for your adult beverages. Keep in mind that not everyone is from Texas :) Newbies like to know who the local brewers are. Thanks again Marcus and Paul for your great customer service.

Amazing experience for the past several years that I have been going to Specs. Andrea is a bonafide All Star....knowledgeable, patient and caring....who always has good suggestions and time for the customer. Highly recommend this location.

I used to frequent this Spec’s because it is extremely close to my home and being a beer aficionado it made it easy for me to swing by and see what new stock they had. The last 2 times I’ve visited I’ve seen beer on the shelf past it’s “best by” date, the most recent was today and I found a 6 pack with a “best by” date of 5/22. As an avid beer drinker that is completely unacceptable, that’s means that beer is at least 9-10 months old. If you want fresh non-stale beer look elsewhere.
