Finally had some time this weekend to stop by Big Cypress Distillery, which has been on my list of South Florida places to visit for several months now. Long story short - this place was amazing! Fernando was so friendly, warm and inviting. He made us feel like we were regulars even though this was our first time. We got to taste all the different liquors they offer and we loved every cocktail Fernando whipped up for us. The other guests were very friendly and the overall vibe of the place is cozy. We are already looking forward to our next trip down to Big Cypress!

If you want to learn from locals on how is the process of making Gin or Rum, first you will want to decide on where to go. You are going to want to come to Big Cypress and then make a plan for a visit on Friday or Saturday to come and do a tasting. Trust me great experience here, buying a bottle, support locals just like I did! Many skills and lots of time are put on specific spirits. Just to represent something you have wanted to be able to do for a long time. They made Miami’s first Gin. You are going to meet nice people and taste batches of spirits with different times of fermentation. So be ready to enjoy! Thank you guys for been so original and sharing some knowledge!

What a cool small business located in the middle of south Kendall. Make sure to find the small entrance unit number 207, then enter into the tasting room that smells like Christmas with all the spices. We loved it and will be a strong supporter! Keep up the amazing work and love for what you do!

After dinner my wife and I decided to stop in for some cocktails and we had the BEST time! Fernando let us sample the different liquor selections and then made us some amazing cocktails. I actually wasn't expecting to enjoy the liquors as much as I did but I had to buy a bottle of the ginger bourbon. We will be back soon!

We had such an amazing time! This is truly a hidden gem. Fernando made our group feel so welcomed and made us the most delicious drinks with their house rums! We will definitely be back!
