Staff are great, very helpful, lots of good choices & good prices. Wished they would Quit moving everything around...just find a spot & leave things where they are. Parking lot is difficult at times. Over all experience very good, staff great. Thanks!

Nice selection of whatever you may need! This is a local chain and it feels like they care about their patrons. Usually there are also some decent deals going on as well as events.

The store has a wide selection and every person working is more than willing to help you find what you are looking for. I love trying new drinks from the sale table for an affordable price.

I’ve been shopping at ABC since I moved to AB last August and for the most part, the staff is friendly, the selection is good, and the store is clean. I mainly like ABC for the convenience. But a few days ago, I was treated so rudely that I just don’t think I can come back. I waited in line and when it was my turn to go to the next available register, I approached the cashier smiling and ready to greet her the way I always do, with a smile and some form of small chit-chat, but upon setting my things on the counter and saying hello, she literally started yelling to someone from across the store: “It’s my BREAK TIME! I want to take my break! Now!” I mean, she didn’t look at me, didn’t greet me, just started yelling this over my shoulder. Then she literally just LEFT the register! LEFT me standing there! I could not believe it! I stood there with my things on the counter, shocked, then started looking around for what to do next. There were a few other cashiers who did nothing, then a nice guy who had helped us earlier actually came racing over. He was the only person who responded and immediately began ringing me up, but I was so upset at that point that I suppose I wanted him to apologize on her behalf, tell me that was inexcusable behavior – something. I can admit that maybe I acted like a bit of a Karen myself at that point because I said how “…unbelievably rude that girl was…” and when he still didn’t respond I said, “Well, I guess this guy isn’t going to address it” to my friends. He then glared at me, I glared back, and that was that. My friends were visiting from out of town and we were buying stuff to make some fun drinks later that night and we were also headed to the beach. In other words, I had been in a great mood until that happened. What a damper that put on my day! I’ve worked in customer service my entire life and could not imagine ever treating a customer the way she treated me. The other guy was just trying to diffuse the situation, honestly, but I was so mad and upset by that point, I probably overreacted and took it out on him. I really hope the girl who acted like that was reprimanded because she was terribly out of line, very RUDE, and put her own coworkers in an awkward position. Everyone standing within a few feet witnessed what happened and it was pretty embarrassing. The whole experience left such a terrible taste in my mouth, I plan to find another place to buy my cocktails, beer, and wine. I doubt I'll return any time soon.
