Check and his staff are amazing! They know their customers by name. To honor my grandma, I picked up a delicious Chianti. I picked up some whiskey for a birthday gift. Chuck is not only an a great business owner, he gives back his time to the community through volunteering. Support local business and give Wheat Ridge Liquor a try.

I came in last night and for the third time was discriminated against. Mike is awful to me, Chuck you are wonderful and we love shopping with you. We support local businesses, Mike had asked me a few weeks back casually if we as a family with children were receiving the new child tax credit. I replied yes and that we were grateful to have it through the holidays. He went on to comment and say we needed to get a real job. That was the first time. Last night I came in and needed to make two separate orders one for me and one for some one else. There was not exactly what I needed but I figured out what to get for both orders. However I needed to pay all together now instead of two separate orders, so I needed to pay part cash and part card. Mike said he can't do that on the new system. He went on to comment and say "what your welfare check hasn't came yet"? I told him yeah I pay taxes just like you. I think that the way that he acts is appalling. I am in customer service myself and for him to treat me that way or anyone for that matter is totally wrong. Anytime he is working I drive to a different store. Mike makes your business look terrible in our opinion.

Bottle of wine, case of beer, bottle of Jameson at WR Liquor = $1.50 cheaper than Applejacks, so the prices are more than fair for a neighborhood liquor store. Employees are super friendly. There's good reason why I pass 3 other liquor stores to shop here the last 15 years.
