The store has an amazing selection and everything was great until I woke up to a charge that was $50 higher. I paid $100 (2 $50 bills) in cash and was charged $43 on my card. I recently checked my account and they posted my charge at $93. I have contacted them through email and no response. If you plan on splitting payments, please make sure you check your account prior to leaving the store.

Have been using them for a while (10yrs) - great selection, but was signed up to their points program that gave you $10 back for every 500 points made. They changed the program to be only $5 with no notificatino to anyone, I wrote to them to ask, zero response. That's obviously how much they value their customers. Will now be shopping more locally.

I had to give at least a star to be able to write this review. I have never been so disrespected by this old cashier who stated he was a manager. Not only did he have to read every line of my ID he then demanded that he see everyone's ID in my group. I was not in a group. He started yelling at me and REFUSED to let me purchase items from "his store". He then yelled at other customers who were standing up for me in the fact I am legally able to purchase alcohol. This employeed not only made sure I will NEVER go back to this location. He caused your company to lose customers. I would greatly suggest that you have this employee trained on the professional and correct way to talk to customers. As there will be a person that will not be as professional as I am.

I was a loyal customer at the Thornton location until last year's allocated whiskey debacle. To summarize, Daveco had a program where, the more you spent, the higher you would be on their list for allocated whiskeys. Think BTAC, Van Winkle line, other highly sought after bottles. I spent thousands at this store last year (probably somewhere in the neighborhood of $3K-4K), purposely going out of my way to buy high end bottles here for a higher position on that end of year list. At the end of last year, the employee who ran their spirits program quit. Rather than stick to the program they had in place, they distributed their allocations amongst employees, friends, and customers in their inner circle. I tried countless times to get in touch with someone, and all I got was no replies to emails and employees who couldn't care less. There are plenty of other great liquor stores that I will be patronizing moving forward. Spend your money elsewhere, as this store's ownership and employees have proven themselves as outright liars with no shred of empathy for loyal customers.

Daveco was once our go to for wine in the area, but customer service has taken a dive. There are now numerous wine stores in the area, with more selection and, as good, if not better prices. Today I asked an associate where I could find Cab Franc. I was told “maybe someone else can help you, I mostly work in the beer.” He didn’t try to find someone else, just turned his back and went back to stocking beer. We left our cart and walked out.
