I order specialty German beers through them, the nicest people. Customer service means a lot to me, and I appreciate them being genuinely nice people.

The reason I moved into Flying Horse was to be closer to FH Wine and Spirits! Ok, I may have gently bent the truth there, but this place is all-star and being close by makes my days just a bit brighter. Selection is wonderful, prices are right, and the staff has always been genuinely friendly. What more can you ask for?

So nice, so helpful! Military discount. WARNING: You WILL smell Walters inside this store, you WILL get hungry, you WILL need more beer for your pizza :) Thanks and keep it up!

What a great liquor store! It just feels good when you walk in the door. One of my favorite beers here is exactly 20% cheaper than just a few miles down the road in Briargate. Voodoo Ranger IPA - $8.99 here at Flying Horse and $10.79 over in the "Pine Creek" area just south a bit. Christian has always been super friendly and eager to help, and I know he appreciates my business. As a craft beer drinker, the selection at Flying Horse is quite impressive also. EDIT: Two years later from my original review above. I live in Bijou Basin, north of Peyton. Forty minutes away from Flying Horse. I still drive to Flying Horse Wine and Spirits to get great beer. They also have Coole Swan all year long. Hard to find Coole anywhere else other than during the Holidays. In the meantime, I also found out that Walter's 303 Pizza, next door to Flying Horse, has the best pizza and SALADS in town!!! Best beer, best pizza, best salads ..... if only there was a fine herb shop in that little strip mall, I'd sell my house, put a camper shell on my pickup and just live in the parking lot. Of course, I'd have to be able to get Netflix also. And be able to feed the livestock. Oh well ..... guess I'll just continue to commute. No chance of a fine herb shop either ... according to El Paso County regulations.

Kevin and the whole crew are sincerely friendly and helpful, and have more than once gone an extra mile to acquire a certain wine, as well as a special bourbon. Selection is very impressive and still expanding into one of the best in North El Paso County.
