I decided to give it a shot and go work for them, it only took me a few hours to realize that I will most likely not get paid so I worked one day there and my gut feeling was right. I went in there today to pick up my check for the one day that I worked and was told that there was no check for me. Not only does Cherry Knolls rip off their customers they also rip off their employees. I now see why Joe is so desperate to find help. I urge everyone to stay away from Cherry Knolls and go to a liquor store that actually cares about their customers and their employees.

This liquor store is a scam and completely unethical. I went in here looking for some Weller whiskey. They are selling a bottle of Weller Full Proof for $500! The suggested retail price for Weller Full Proof is $50. They are selling a bottle of Weller Special Reserve for $200! The suggested retail price for Weller Special Reserve is $24. The cashier that works there is a nice guy and is sympathetic regarding this issue. However, to the owner of this store ask yourself why I should support a local store like yours when you are price gouging your customers? If you are selling your allocated whiskeys for the same price as the 3rd party online market, WHY SHOULD WE SUPPORT YOUR BUSINESS?! Here, I will answer that question for you, WE SHOULDN'T SUPPORT YOU. Another message to the owner: I have reported you directly to Buffalo Trace Distillery. I hope they revoke your ability to sell any allocated Buffalo Trace products just like they did to a liquor store in Evergreen for price gouging. What goes around comes back around. It's just a matter of time... Sincerely, Not your customer

Personnel are always friendly, and knowledgeable. For a smaller-scale store, they have a good selection. In the past, they have had issues with lower cooler temperatures. Cooler temperatures have been noticeably improved in recent months. Prices are lower compared to other stores in the area, and combined with a free rewards program makes this the preferred destination.

After 3 1/2 years of shopping here, I give up. Instead of driving the 1/2 mile to shop at this store I will go out of my way from here on out to shop at Davidson’s. The lack of customer service and honestly just basic social skills is ridiculous. They can’t seem to crack a smile or say hello when you walk in. Today apparently my small talk (which I made because checking out in their glaring silence is uncomfortable)as I was paying was just to much and I just got grumbled at. No thanks! At Davidson’s they know how to smile, ask how your day is going while you pay and tell you to have a nice evening when you’re leaving. In this day of crashing small businesses you’d think a little positive attitude wouldn’t be out of the realm of possibility when someone bothers to walk through your door. It’s not like you have an exclusive product I can’t buy a mile down the road. Best of luck to you!!

Went in to buy a bottle of bourbon and some extras for an event. A delivery app said they had everything. Confirmed it was actually there and drove in because the delivery time was over an hour and I had things to do. Once I got to the store the clerk refused to sell me the bottle of bourbon. Said it was in the back. Asked politely if he could grab it so I could purchase and he said no. Shame cause I was getting ready to buy for an event and we needed multiple bottles of wine and vodka. Their loss. Won’t be back.
