Helpful staff, decent selection, but know what you are looking for (and how much it should cost) before you go. I saw a bottle of EH Taylor small batch for sale for $189, which is just laughable. Got the same bottle for $43 in VA.

The pricing and availability on their website was accurate. When I called the store to verify the person was very pleasant and helpful. For the information that she could not provide me I was told someone would be in touch with me in the morning. I received a call early the next morning and was given the information i needed soon afterwards. After placing the order I was kept up-to-date on the order status by the store. I purchased a very high-end bottle of liquor and could not be more happy with the service provided.

I ordered a bottle of wine from them through a third party app. The order was confirmed and processed but never shipped. I reached out several times as this was supposed to be a gift. By the time they did reach out they informed me that Black Bear did not have the inventory to fulfill the order and it would be canceled. This was about 2 weeks after I placed the order, too late to make an alternate plan. Be cautious dealing with the seller.

Great store and great staff. Ethan was great with a small mix up. Fixed immediately and personally made sure the order was correct. I’ll be purchasing from them again

Great atmosphere and stellar customer service make this wine store a hidden treasure. Whether you're stocking up for a party, picking out a gift for a friend, or expanding your knowledge of wine at one of their tastings, Black Bear is truly a rewarding experience.
