There is no place like it in my experience. Every employee is kind, fun, and knows a lot. If they don’t know about what you’re asking for they’ll find someone in the shop who does. The prices aren’t the rock bottom prices you might find elsewhere, but let’s be honest you’re paying for the amazing staff who helped you find what you were looking for! Wise Old Dog’s team is living proof that amazing, personal, non-pretentious customer service is still alive and well.

I went in for a quick stop to grab some wine for dinner and was helped quickly and ended up with 2 great choices! From the brief time I was there it looks like they have a great selection. The woman helping was extremely friendly and knowledgeable and gave me recommendations of places to visit while I was in town. Highly recommend!

For a small business, always great prices that best/rival Bruce’s/total wines. Awesome personalities, it’s a trip every time you go. You should go here.

We absolutely loved our experience at this store. They are extraordinarily knowledgeable about wine (as well as beer and spirits) and will definitely help you get the best of the best within whatever budget you are working with. Honestly, I want to return simply for the entertainment value . Great selection of wine!

Great spot! They have a wide selection of organic wines from unique vineyards and a large selection of craft beers. Thomas helped my wife and I pick out some new wines to try, which were spot on with our palate. Highly recommend The Wise Old Dog!
