Well organized and well stocked, it was a pleasant experience coming into this high end Greenwich Liquor store, where friendly staff even offered to specialty order bottles. Definitely left a great impression on me. Generally Citarella gets a bad wrap for being expensive, yet, somehow I found Fernet-Branca at it's cheapest price anywhere. Definitely worth visiting.

Caterer recommended using this company for party. Liquor store made recommendations for the appropriate amount of liquor, and we went with it. What a mistake! Numerous items not returnable and on top of that a 10% restocking fee. To add insult to injury, when I arrived to return items I called store for assistance in carrying in return and person who answered brushed me off. NEVER AGAIN. TWICE AS MUCH AS NEEDED AND GOT STUCK WITH WAY TOO MUCH "NON-returnable" items. Save your money and go somewhere else, I wish I had. Checked with my nearby liquor store(whom I do little or no business with) and they said this was outrageous and most certainly would have taken all back with no return fee.

Rude guy behind the counter. When I went in to ask for a Swiss wine I had bought there a year ago he looked at me and said we don’t even sell Swiss wines and proceeded to go back to his computer, me thinking he was searching stock to try and help me , so I stood there and realized he was reading the news . I left the store and said thanks and got a VERY condescending your welcome.Where is the nice guy that worked there last year? This bitter old guy has to go !!!

Fantastic wine shop next to the Citarella Market - they have a great, hand-picked selection of wine and spirits and their staff is very friendly and knowledgeable
