I love going in here for my instacart orders because they have a gorgeous snickersoodle dog in there and it took him about several times if me visiting to warm up to me but now he runs up to the front when he hears my voice..I will add a photo next time I take an order there.

I like going here. The owners are polite, and they have a great selection of wine and spirits. Good prices too. They stay open late. This is the store I like the best. EDIT: the best store in the area.

Had placed order on Drizly online to have a bottle of champagne delivered. Upon calling this liquor store (who was listed as the liquor store delivering said champagne) and speaking with whichever employee or “owner” ,as he claimed, I was a little taken a back at how incredibly unhelpful, unprofessional and incredibly RUDE he was!! Listen, I hardly ever if never leave google reviews, but this guy was just a flat out jerk. When I asked if my order had been delivered ,because I hadn’t received an email stating so, he told me he “didn’t have a Drizly order”. So then I get a little worried cause my card had already been charged and I was just confused. He then proceeded to yell out to another employee asking if he had just delivered champagne, to which the employee responds with a “yeah”… I got no “I’m sorry” or anything for his lack of information. I hadn’t heard anything from my bestie whom I had champagne delivered to, so I text her asking if she’s home… she’s not.. nobody was home . I call back BROADWAY PLAZA LIQUOR and ask how champagne was delivered if there was no signature received..?! I was told by the same individual I had spoken with earlier that “that’s just what they do” continuing that “since COVID, people just want them to leave their alcohol deliveries outside”. Uuuuumm, but it’s alcohol, I thought a signature was required, i said… he continued to be rude saying that they can “go pick up bottle and deliver it again and charge me for it” Guy was a punk and has no right speaking to customers this way.. I wasn’t rude at all.. I paid for a service and had questions about it, BROADWAY PLAZA LIQUOR was absolutely horrible to do business with! Very snarky attitude this guy had.

Nice store, very clean, and nice guy behind the register - not sure if he is the owner, but we chatted a bit and laughed about New York and Illinois. We bought several bottles of wine for our long weekend in Albany.

Broadway Plaza is a great shop, the owner Richard is friendly and helpful. I look forward to seeing this store become one of the landmarks to downtown Albany. Great rebuilding of stores and eateries on same block.
