Found this place when I was looking for a wine that only they carried. They have some unlisted wines and you have to ask the owner to show them to you. They carry some high end wines. Only issue was I drove all that way for wine that was listed to only find out it was sold not too long ago. So call to make sure they have the wine you are looking for if it is on the pricey side. They have two places for high end wines, one smaller fridge in the front of the store and one larger cellar room in the back. The owner is a nice guy. They have too many wines I would like to try!

Raeder's Wines & Liquors has never disappointed me on my journey to try new things. The employees are very helpful and always give me the perfect suggestions. They have a vast selection and even if they don't have an item you are looking for they can put you on a special order list and get back to you when they have the item in store. I do not live local but it is always worth the drive as any other store I have been to has not been able to compete with the selection Raeders has to offer.

Store employee thought it would be funny to do mock Asian “voices and sounds” around Asian customers. Multiple employees at location and not a single one did anything to stop it from happening. Plenty of Asians in this neighborhood and they don’t need to be treated like this. Take your dollars and spend it elsewhere. Disgusting.

Great selection, competitive prices, and helpful staff. Also, a nice selection of top shelf bottles.

I've been a satisfied customer of Raeder's for nearly 10 years now, and I can't believe it's taken me this long to write a review. Raeder's has the largest selection of wine and liquor of any store that I've encountered anywhere in New York. Their liquor selection is stocked with everything from your everyday affordable bottles all the way up to high end, rare, and collectable bottles. If you don't see something be sure to just ask someone there, and there's a good chance they can help you find it. The wine selection is extraordinary. They have all of your popular, affordable name brands, as well as an enormous selection of high end, rare, collectable, and/or older vintages bottles. Again, if you don't see something, be sure to ask as the whole staff is extremely friendly, makes excellent recommendations, and is always willing to help. Raeder's truly is a hidden gem on Long Island, and there really is nothing else like it that I've encountered. If your love wine, you must visit Raeder's, highly recommend it!
