This is the nicest store in the area. Great selection of wine are grain goods. The 'Candy Shop' is over the top! I will save the description so that you visit for yourself.

The staff are well versed in most wine categories. We have found all kinds of wines we might not have the wide selection to choose from at Lighthouse Liquors! Nice gem of a place for all sorts!!

This is the only liquor store I really go to anymore and that's rare as it is. They have a great selection and a loyalty program so you really get taken care of. Plus their staff is efficient, friendly and safe. There's one item I always pop over for, Admiral Nelson Cherry. They're one of the few stores to carry it and it's always stocked when I go it so they'll always have my loyalty for that. Saves me a trip to Rochester.

Most of the staff here are snobs and make it obvious when they don't like you. I was refused service bc they accused me of being drunk..I had not had even 1 drink before walking in there. Certain staff make comments/remarks to or about customers..very unprofessional. Today was the last straw for this place. Try top shelf wine and liquor in wellsburg..way cheaper and the staff is laid back and friendly to EVERYONE!

I'd like to start off by saying I am a business owner. The old ladies, that were at work this morning at 11 am when I walked in, were very unprofessional. I made it halfway through the store with a bag in my hand, (nothing crazy a very open topped paper bag from family dollar right next door), when I was told that my bag needed to be left upfront. Not noticing any signs saying my bag had to be left upfront, I didn't complain, and brought my bag up to the counter and sat it there. As I turned around the lady's asked me what I was looking for. They politely told me where I was looking, no problem, as I make my way back I notice what I'm looking for halfway there. Perfect I grab it and start looking around. It's Christmas time, might as well look around. The lady up front then yells back, "It's in the far corner." So I politely say back I found what I was looking for right there. I then notice every employee in the building is looking at me and one had even crossed the store to follow me as I had went to get what I had needed. Feeling very watched by all the employees, I quickly became very uncomfortable. Even as I was checking out all eyes were on me. All three women that work there were literally watching me as if I were getting ready to steal something, even after I took out my wallet to pay for my one item. It left me with a distaste for the store that won't have me coming back here ever again. I work hard for my money and to be judged as if I'm going to steal something and feel that I'm being watched so closely that I don't want to do any more shopping there, tell ya I've never been judged like that ever before. Maybe it was because I pulled up in my older car, had a stain on my shirt, who knows, either way, I don't like to feel as if im doing something wrong while I'm shopping. If you have that many bad people coming and stealing, you shouldn't have 60 yr old ladies working there. Just my opinion.
