I’ve only been once, but I love this place. Their menus are seasonal - I had the maple mango-rita, and they were so good I went back for a second. I think anything with their maple liquor is bound to be delicious. There’s a lot to love here; they also have to go cocktails. The orange creme lightning “whiskey” (15%) is VERY tasty. They had an outdoor seating area, but everyone else had beer flights from next door - so if your party can’t decide on beer or liquor, this place will have something for everyone.

We had 2 tastings so we tasted a total of 8 offerings. Every one of them was great! There wasn’t a single one I wouldn’t order a bottle of. The standouts were the chocolate crème brûlée liquor, the orange crème lightning liquor and the bourbon. The gin and the vodka were also fantastic. The distiller (chef Uyehara) was there and was very forthcoming with his experience and thoughts on the offerings and was a pleasure to talk to. His insights made the tasting even more engaging and fun. We left with several bottles and would definitely go back.

We stopped for a visit during our hike on the trail. We enjoyed the tour and the samples. The Maple spirits are very unique and would make a wonderful gift for the holidays. We only wish it was sold somewhere in Syracuse.

I checked out the distillery today and was extremely impressed with the entire operation. Met Chis co owner and he gave me a tour of the facility. I sampled his bourbon and Skaneateles whiskey. Totally was impressed with both. No question this is a diamond in the rough. Chis has done an incredible job with his attention to detail and his welcoming demeanor. No question in my mind his quality product is a baby to Weller.

Fabulous atmosphere and the owner/founder was there today when I stopped by before regular hours - he told me that whenever his van is there everyone is welcome! His award winning Lightning Whiskey is what I came back for - makes the best Moscow Mules EVER, especially with Goya Ginger beer! He is truly exemplary as a small business owner who wants to wow you with his product and his charm. LOVE THIS PLACE!! (great for meeting friends there, too! - lots of yummy drinks to try)
