This little distillery is a revamped bar in the middle of the pine Island black dirt. You can grab take your drink outside and look at the beautiful rolling fields. The staff is friendly and let me charge my phone since I was on the move. There is a stage for live music a second floor that is a 'barn lounge', and wood stoves. A food truck is outside too if you need a nibble.

Sampled the "absinthe" and unaged rye today at Warwick Farmer's Market. First of all, that is NOT absinthe! When I inquired about the price of the Unaged Rye, I was told the price was $40 cash for just a 375 ml bottle. The fella at the booth didn't have change, so I offered to pay by card and the price was suddenly only $29.19. Hmm? The product in the bottle I bought is also nothing like what I tasted. Annnnd I' m never charged tax on sales made at The Farmer's Market. So great job all around!

Beautiful drive (Oct, Fall Foliage) from NYC up the Palisades Parkway to Orange County. Arrived at Brown Barn (OCD) on one of the warmest Sunday's for this time of the year. Incredible original cocktails and one of the best burgers ever from the "Bus". I highly recommend!

We took a tour at the OCD as a 50th B-Day gift for a buddy and it was a great time! Brittany our tour guide was very outgoing, passionate and full of hands on knowledge of the entire distilling process. We all have a new deep appreciation for all of the hard work that goes into making these fine spirits. We ended the tour with a tasting as Brittany guided us through twelve of their Vodka, Gin, Whiskey and Rye creations. We all left in good Spirits! If you are looking for that unique day out with some friends, we highly recommend going to OCD!

This is the actual distillery (not the barn and food truck). Here you can buy their product, learn how they grow their own cereals and sugar beats to distill into spirits. And get free whiskey samples (leave a tip in the jar). Small place for a quick stop before heading to their Brown Barn for the full experience.
