Went to the Yankee Distillers while visiting my son in Clifton Park, NY and decided to drop by the distillery. I went with very low expectations as most local distillers are a less than a great tasting experience as the whisk(e)y is typically very young. Well, as an pretty experienced taster, I was very impressed and the flight I enjoyed has certainly raised the bar and set a new standard. My preference was in this order; Straight Rye, Straight Malt, Straight Wheat, then the Straight Bourbon. The Eleven Lakes Vodka was as good as any I have had. However, the Straight Bourbon makes and stands up well in an Old Fashion or a Manhattan. The distiller and employees are super friendly and the kind of folks I would hang out with after hours. They took the time to explain the flavor profiles and were willing to have an honest conversation about their products. Definitely recommend a visit to anyone that enjoys Bourbon or Whisk(e)y. Edit***. And by the way, at the end of our tasting, Matt came by the table and had us try the Honey Rye, it was off the hook, spicy on the front and back of the tongue, and smooth and silky on the mid-flat of your tongue. Totally recommend a visit!

Great drinks, very friendly and kind staff. They don’t go cheap on their drinks, I feel there always pretty strong which is what I like. I like going here from time to time, good vibes it’s nice being able to sit outside to when there’s nicer weather. Highly recommend getting a cocktail here.

Had a fabulous time as a first visit with my boyfriend and roommate. These fellows are common stakes at my local farmers market so I wanted to see the place itself. I made sure to ask if they were dog friendly, but not only friendly but exemplary. They shut the door to the other rareas of the still and such so my boys could visit off leash while we tasted and drank. Beautiful cocktails, and would absolutely recommend the spiced hot cider. (Sooo good, order two). I tried four different cocktails while there and each one was beautiful. Both the bartender and bartenderess we're wonderful friendly people and kind to not only myself but to my dogs (which means more to me then the humans). A great atmosphere, lovely merch and fantastic cocktails available, I would most definitely recommend to any who enjoy some alcohol. 💜

Had the day off on a Wednesday and came in. Loved the decor as soon as I entered and it had an earthy driftwood scent that I loved. I had an old fashioned and a cordwood. Both were delicious, but since I tend for tge sweeter the cordwood was great made with their whiskey. Max was a very friendly and knowledgeable mixologist and Matt, the owner was just as nice. Great place to chill and have a drink. No rush. No craziness..just a good vibe all-around. Bourbon and whiskey were stellar. Come and relax here. It's a wonderful place. The pugs are good guard dogs too. 😉😁🥃🥃🥃

The atmosphere at the Yankee Distillers was awesome. My first time from the Bronx visiting my son and he brought me here. The bar tenders were so great. I don't drink much but they went out of their way and made me a drink was great. Such a great place and crew will definitely recommend and will be back myself.
