I called this store to inquire about a product. The manager, presumably, confirmed the item was in stock, however; he would not disclose a price by phone or even an approximate cost. He's so scared to provide info on his prices just in case what — his competitors are spying on him? Give me a break. So, I told him that I am traveling quite a distance to get there and with an injured leg. And asked him, again, to please give me an approximate price. He said, "nope," and just hung up. Twenty minutes later I arrived there and stated my name. Right away the same manager walked me over to the product and showed me that his shelf price is $199.99 per 750ml unit (competition take note!! 😂😂). This is this the highest price I've ever seen in my life. Ever. And by a long shot! So, I decided to ask him for a reduced price. He replied, "absolutely not! I don't care. I am going to sell it anyway in the next 2-3 days." Well, I hope he does. But for all of you loyal customers of Sergio's please let it be known that you are being knowingly taken advantage of and price gauged. If that buys your loyalty then by all means. But as a fellow New Yorker, trying to support local business, I just want to say that people that absolutely disregard customers and intentionally inflate prices to maximize and serve solely their own interests do not deserve any loyalty, business or respect. I'm hardly one to write these kinds of reviews, but honestly this was the absolute worst retail shopping experience I've ever had. Not because of the unfair pricing but specifically because of the blatant and pronounced intent to take advantage of all customers interested in the given product. If this was the last operational liquor store I wouldn't step foot in there again.

They have a surprisingly good liquor selection here. Nothing too out there, but a good selection of high quality basic brands beyond the bottom shelf stuff. There are some pretty high quality bottles nestled in there, and they for sure have the best prices in the neighborhood. The wine is a bit all over the place, but like the liquor you might be surprised at what you find. The people who work here are super nice too!

Great place. Very friendly staff and a large selection. Definitely the best liquor store in this neighborhood; they didn't have what I wanted and ordered it for me so that they would have it for me. 5 stars.

I'm always satisfied when I leave here. If they dont have something, I either can come back the next day or rely on them ordering it and keeping it in stock.
