Very helpful customer service. I called before going to ask about inventory for Japanese sake or rice wines and they had a few things to choose from. Some imported and one locally made sake. Very big selection of other more common alcohols, and they had free whiskey tasting.

Excellent customer service! I don't drink alcohol and I was about to entertain a friend who drinks. I don't know how to mix drinks. I was looking for a "mixed drink or cocktail in a can." God bless the young man who served me because he helped me choose the perfect beverage for my guest!

Meh is my feeling about this store. I like wine and hard liquor, my husband likes expensive bourbon. It’s a mile and a half from my house so it’s convenient. Prices and selection are fine. Sometimes I’m asked if I need help, usually I’m not. Often, there’s a group of people behind the checkout socializing, and I can’t tell if they’re employees or delivery people or vendors. The cashiers are usually friendly, but it would be nice if they provided a receipt every time without asking. Just because I can’t return something doesn’t mean I’m not entitled to a copy of the receipt. I went in today looking for a specific bourbon for my husband for Valentine’s Day. Usually when I can’t find something in the aisle, I know it’s behind the counter. I showed the cashier a screenshot of the store’s website, and he jokingly said “well at that price, it should be in the aisle on the right side of the aisle, and if it’s not, then it’s on the left.” I went back to the aisle. A different version of it was there, the version I was looking for was not. I walked back to the register, saw what I was looking for right behind the first cashier. Another cashier waved me over. I jokingly said that I politely disagreed with the first cashier that what I was looking for was in the aisle, and she said well, no actually, he’s not wrong, the bigger bottles are in the aisle, and we have smaller bottles back here and she showed me a different (incorrect version), to which I responded for her to just please look behind him, the one that I’m looking for is literally right there. She turns. Oh hey, I was right. No acknowledgment that I was right. So I guess next time I want a $72 bottle of bourbon, I’ll drive down to Viscount or Arlington Wine & liquor. The reward program here is a joke; I spend several hundred dollars a year and I’m lucky to get a dollar or two off every so often. If the employees are too busy socializing and don’t even know what they stock, I’ll just spend my money elsewhere.

Beautiful store, with a terrific selection and a really awesome staff. Super easy to get in and out of after I finish my shopping at ShopRite.

Never will I shop there in the future. I walked up to the counter to pay and there are three men behind the plexiglass counter. I hear a faint, “I can help you over here”. So I walk forward and not being sure who said it I say , “where?” They both speak at once so I ask for clarity again and I guess that made me stupid and the smart mouth man with a short sleeve black tee shirt and glasses who’s very pound and sure of himself says, “over there where no one is”, and points to the empty counter to his right where there is no cashier and laughs. There’s some fierce tapping on his register keys and inside joking between the cashiers and loud chuckles. As I leave I hear him make a snarky comment about “tearing Phoebe apart with her bare hands”, whatever that means. Insulting a customer is kind of mean don’t you think? If you like that sort of thing I guess he’s your guy. I’ll never go back.
