So enjoyed meeting the new owner, Tom! It seems like he has great plans. Tom was extremely helpful and knowledgeable when it came to wine! I was impressed with their new international wines particularly a Bordeaux and Châteauneuf-du-Pape. Looked like a few nice Italian wines as well. All great prices for the value. Engelbart’s has turned a corner with Tom’s management!

Don't worry about all those past reviews below. Englebardt's has new owners who are incredibly welcoming, helpful, and kind. We were in the area about a week ago as they were closing up on a Sunday and welcomed us in. We spent a good hour chatting with the owners and now they are placing an order for shirts with our company! Win win!

Best place liquor store ever!!! The young man I believe his name was Adam. If I’m wrong I apologize, because after the bottles he delivered to me personally, was right on time. Pleasant place, great customer service. My new spot!

My girlfriend and I have been to Englebardt’s fairly regularly since we moved to Schenectady. I have to say out of all of the liquor stores in the area that I’ve been to, I have never received such bad customer service. The older gentleman there eyes me up and down throughout my time in the store like he’s expecting me to steal something. Every time I walk in. Not to mention every question I’ve ever asked there has been returned with an abrupt and cold answer. I understand that I’m a younger man and if you work in a liquor store you need to take precautions to cover yourself. I work in a smoke shop. So when it comes to ID’s, larceny, and such, I get it. That being said, are you kidding me? The energy I received there is absolutely not how any customer should feel in a place of business. Shop there for convenience, not for service.

The worker there was really nice and helpful. They also have a customer points program I would have signed up for if I went there more often.
