Great liquor store w a wide selection and really cheap alcohol and specials

Don’t call to ask whether or not a product is still there. Very rude and horrible customer service. I’m a business owner and wouldn’t mind how many times a customer calls to inquire about a product being in stock. Avoid this store. It’s plenty other stores whether better prices and customer service.

Miss the parking for free but they moved next door but good for walkers in the 'hood. Prices are OK but Calvert- Woodley's are better. Live in Upper NW so depending on how mobile and thirsty you are! Go!

First time here, just needed some liquor to drink. Place seems a bit crowded with product. I found something near the way back of the place but when I went to check out was told price was higher than what sign said. Did it like that they did not change price or give me the sticker price. Felt like it was a scam. Don't think I will return to this location again as there are many other places to get liquor. I also do not recommend to anyone either.

Once a neighborhood institution, Barrel House lost a lot of character when it moved next door and lost its iconic barrel shaped door. At about half the size of the original, it doesn't quite have the same vast selection, but is still quite serviceable. It is inviting with friendly service. Also among the pluses are its late hours on Friday and Saturday nights, and Sunday hours.
