We really enjoyed this place. Drinks were very good. We also had the chips and dip appetizer and shrimp and grits. Shrimp and grits were cold and different than what you would expect. Otherwise everything else was good. Service was great. I would definitely recommend this place.

What’s not to love. Took the tour with close friends— we loved learning the ins and outs of this special place, experiencing the gorgeous setting during the tasting and we all left with bottles. American Whiskey has become our crowd favorite for cocktails, and the bottle/label is pleasing to the eye so is now my go-to gift!

If you haven't tried the Founding Spirits "Arroyo's Never Bitter" Amaro, do not walk, run to Farmers & Distillers right now. It is super delicious and great before or after a big meal. I've brought friends in to try it and everyone says they've never tasted something like this before. I've also purchased their vodka and American Whiskey which are both great. The label designs on the Founding Spirits bottles are also handsomely designed.

If you're looking for something fun/different to do with friends visiting, family visiting - or just a different kind of boozy brunch with your weekend crew...this is the place to go. The distillery tours on Saturday are free - you can eat brunch after since it's in Farmers & Distillers, AND you can buy bottles from them directly. It's a pretty awesome one stop shop. The vodka is awesome, very smooth - and the Amaro is also a can't miss item (it's lightly sweetened with local honey from their apiary on GWU's rooftop - how cool is that?) Worth the visit. Cheers!

My sister just brought a bottle of Founding Spirits Vodka on our family vacation. First time trying it and it was so good. Already bought a bottle online! Looking forward to doing the tour next time I am in DC.
