Wow, never been treated so rude in a store in Georgetown. I just laughed it off and said "Have a nice day," but the guy sneered and glared and even snapped at me when I informed him off a price mix up on the shelves. I didn't argue over the price, I paid without question but he acted incredibly pretentious as if tending to his job and customers was beneath him. He ignored me at first but since the item I purchased was literally twice the price as the tag it was sitting on, I mentioned it. EDIT: I see the reply. Apparently after picking up a bottle, due to the price next to it, I set it down on a different shelf after looking at it, okay. Sorry, but that has nothing to do with the situation. I picked up the bottle because of the price near it not because where I set the bottle down. Anyway, this is just one of those place that has a great location so it doesn't need to have good service to be profitable.

They have the basics but don't be looking for anything special or multiple options

Nice neighborhood shop. Very small selection of spirits (but they will special order upon request), but there’s a walk-in fridge for beers. I appreciated that they enforced the mask policy. I'd much prefer to support a small business like this than a mega-store, especially with competitive prices.

I have been a loyal customer to this store for quite sometime now, especially since lockdown. This was my go to place to buy gin. The cashier was extremely rude when I accidentally walked into the store forgetting to wear my mask. Saying “Get out, go!”. I understand people are worried about the virus, but that doesn’t warrant being rude to customers. I’m sure he doesn’t care, because it’s not his business that’s losing customers. Nonetheless the owner should be aware that certain members of staff working for them have an attitude problem.
